Appointment, Exams and Consultations
If you are a first-time patient, we will schedule you for a comprehensive dental exam or consultation. We will review your medical and dental history, your priorities and concerns and create a customized treatment plan. If we find any decay, tooth damage or gum disease we will inform you promptly. If you have a dental emergency, we will address your concerns as soon as possible. After we develop an appropriate treatment plan, including alternatives for care, our business office team will provide you with a detailed list of fees for service, including estimated out-of-pocket expenses.
Financial and Insurance
At Eastside Dental Clinic we recognize that communication between staff, providers and patients is the key to successful outcomes. We also understand that the financial side of dental care can be confusing. To assist in achieving dental wellness we have fostered excellent working relationships with insurance companies. Above all else, we want you to have a clear understanding of your financial and insurance options. We are here to help you receive your highest insurance benefits based on your dental insurance policy.
Insurance and Patient Co-payments
We are an unrestricted dental office, and can submit to any dental insurance as long as the policy does not require you to see only their assigned providers. Although dental benefits have become increasingly a supplement only, it is essential for both new and existing patients to accurately fill out, or update their insurance as appropriate, prior to appointments. In doing so you are allowing our business office to stay updated on any policy changes that can occur year-to-year. This will assist us in creating treatment plans that reflect the estimated insurance coverage along with any estimated co-pays you may have.
Medicare
Although we are an opt-out, Medicare dental office provider, much like with other insurance companies we can submit to most Medicare Advantage dental policies. Please contact us to learn if this is the case for you. We also offer multiple payment options; including cash, checks, all credit cards and CareCredit, for those who qualify.
