We may also use a soft tissue laser to treat periodontal disease by removing bacterial infection, which allows for the regeneration of healthy tissue around the teeth. TransilluminationDental transillumination is a very effective way to confirm fractures or decay within a tooth. A light is shined through the tooth to expose discoloration or fracture within the tooth that may be indicative of potential problems.
